The 2-nd project meeting of the MAPs project took place on December 9–10, 2024, in Mauritius. The meeting was hosted under the auspices of Dr. Bhavish Jugurnath (University of Mauritius). It was held in a hybrid format, also accessible through an IT tool.
The meeting covered the progress of the project, including Project Management and Coordination as well as Communication and Dissemination activities (presented by No Gravity/Gabriel Adamek). The Regional Stakeholders Platform was introduced by Prof. Ákos Máthé (Hungary), followed by presentations on Educational and Training Materials by SAEOPA/Karen Swanepoel.
Representatives from the Kenyan project partner Herbspice Market (Esther Ngina and Musili Syanda) presented a proposal for pilot actions within WP47 (Pilot Actions).
In the following days, project partners visited the Pilot Plant site in Balaclava, where they installed a weather station to monitor the local environment and collect data for further use in the project.
